Front Porch and partners recently testified in support of a City Council resolution to review the city's tax increment financing (TIF) policy to better support affordable housing. As Executive Director, Jody Holston, shared, "developing affordable housing requires layering multiple funding sources to make the numbers work. TIF is one of the few flexible tools that can help close that gap." The resolution passed unanimously and underscores the important role TIF can play in addressing our region’s housing challenges when paired with intentional policy.
